Going on holiday!!!!!!

Hey guys, I'll be on holiday for the next 16 days. I've decided I'm going to do one blog post a week on general shiz and another one as a bonus completely randomly. But after holiday of course =P.

Apology, Fishing, honor farming and MORE BALANCE DRUIDS!!!

First of all I would like to apologize to Parfait for thinking his 20 shaman twink was a 24 paladin. They have quite similar names =P don't /spit on the shaman, he's cool. Secondly I would like to apologize for not posting in a while! I've been really busy with work etc but I swear I'm gunna get a regular posting schedule sorted out. Once every 2 days maybe?


So I've been doing the fishing dailies lately with no luck on the weather beaten fishing hat. They come from the "Bag of Shiny Things" reward if anyone didn't know. 

No shiny's for me =(

To be honest I'm quite liking my hat at the moment but the 3 stam and 3 spirit will give me an excuse when people ask why I don't have the engi goggles. I do NOT want to farm engi but if it comes down to it I'm going to have to. 

Kewl. 

Now to honor farming. I'm trying to farm the BoA PvP staff and to be quite honest it's going slowly, but I'm quite enjoying it. I've only got 1.2k honor because as previously stated I've been really busy but as soon as warsong is call to arms next I'll have it. All nighters coming up!

Ok so now onto the best bit, I've heard quite a few people talking about making balance druids! I love this!!! I'm even gunna create my own smiley face for it `_`  .... Fail on my part. Anyway It's pretty cool to see I've inspired people to make balance druids (I know that's the case with a few of them) and just wanted to say - love you guyzzz <3.

New design, capping flags and funny conversations... kinda

Hello people, sorry I haven't posted in a while I've had family shit to sort out but it's all good now.


If you haven't already noticed, the sexy lindenkron has made me a new background. Personally I love it and he definitely knew what colours I wanted (even though I never told him what I wanted... strange =P). So basically - Thanks!!!


Ok so I've taken a little break from pwning the damage board to cap flags for quick honor and easy wins. I have only failed in capping a flag once when I was ambushed by two hunters in the tunnel haha but we still won that game =P.

So I was talking to a 24 rogue today basically asking why he made a 24 twink and what was the point. He said "I don't understand" and I said "Shitting on people 4 levels below you isn't fun" and he then said "I'm just playing the game the way I know how". I facepalmed at that point. I don't think these 24's realize what they're doing. People are cheering at the 24 twinks like they're heroes and it's not good. it just encourages them...

Not good....

WSG get's boring and AB gets fun!

Only one hunter beat me in damage... DAMN IT

So we all know hunters rule warsong. I'm not getting top damage... This is not good enough. Usually I'm being beaten by either hunters or paladins. I decided to try and get some AB's going so I whispered a whole load of people and started some. 

They went well at first but then slowly got worse and worse. People weren't capping flags (some were just standing by them LOL) and others were doing ok. So we had two kinds of people in the bg, non cappers and ok people =P. Except me, I was an insane ninja capper which was amazingly fun.

If you can't see that, that's 7 caps

But enough bitching. We should all start doing AB more often. It's way way waaaaay easier to kill hunters.

Some good news, I hit my first 1000 honor =P. I've decided I'm gunna get the wep first because, well that just seems like the best idea.

So! I'm gunna start brushing up on my dueling skills! Ihasfury is dueling each class and spec (Seems that way from his last blog) and I don't want to embarrass myself xD. I saw a lot of people in bg today who need to work on their 1v1 skills (Is it bad that I just sat their in stealth watching them?). Please search "How to Backstrafe" on youtube >.>! No twinks should be backpedalling... Ty ^^

So I've been getting my skinning up lately and I was reminded of The Stonefield Farm in elwynn forest. The boards respawn instantly and get your skinning right up to 100!

Some of you who have read the previous posts will know I've been stacking crit rating lately. You know what skinning gives you right? Crit rating yaaaaaay. But everyone knew that. 

Quick update: Stacking crit has been going very well lately and personally I don't even use my HP set. Balance druids get one shot by hunters anyway so why fight it. Rogues never kill us anyway and you know why? 99% of rogues suck ass. They waste shadowstep for ambushing and blow sprint right away to catch up... I can travel form away long enough to go into prowl and wait out their sprint whilst they have full DoTs on them... Bare in mind this is in BG and I think duels would go a different way.

Horde winning WSG? Queuing for AB and more!

OK so this kinda caught me by surprise. HORDE ARE WINNING WARSONG! I mean occasionally we used to win a few but now we're winning almost every time. I've had 3 flawless games today along with 5 non flawless and only 2 losses. This is a new record.

So yeah that's good news, I guess people are starting to realise you need to cap flags to win wsg. Also congratz to the first warrior ever to beat me in damage - Nooberino, Arms warrior. It really is too bad you play Alliance dude.

Another thing, we need to start queuing for AB. In Ab we can out maneuver hunters a lot easier and it's generally a fun bg to play. I was talking to Ihasfury about it today and he was saying he's up for it. I wonder if we can get some premades going?

I've only played one AB on my 20 and we lost so I'd like to get some wins! maybe even make it the main bg for level 20 twinks? That would be cool!

So I saw this guy in AB today with the assistant prof. Title. Cool. I did a bit of research and it seems it's NOT possible to get this title at level 20. This is suckish and I know I was disappointed by this...

Yes, you read correctly. The man who started off the F2P blog "craze" as it were has shut down his blog. I PM'd Thirk - aka Iaccidentallytwink on twinkinfo and he basically said too many people have created blogs and that he would rather not be another blog that people have to go visit. 

Thirk has inspired many people to make F2P twinks and to also (Obviously) make blogs! Honestly, it kinda sucks that he deleted his blog but hey! We have to move on. I heard Warcraftnick has also started a blog and I think he plays a rogue... Not sure though.

So, to my one or two readers (Lol!). Go give every blog equal support:

I honestly don't see why Thirk closed it. Just like Ihasfury said, aslong as we have one blog per class it will be fine! But w/e it's his choice =) Although he did say in a whisper to me that he will consider putting back up, but for now it stays down.

Stacking crit is pro breh!!

So i've been stacking crit rating on my druid lately. IT'S AWESOME! Seriously, your dots hit for 60-70 each when they crit and I've got 21% or so crit chance. Not to mention my starsurge crits are pretty good as well. But seeing as I mostly try and kite most classes I only get a chance to use that when they're not very good. I haven't lost much health or mana by stacking crit so it's not that bad. If I ever go below 1000 health I'll be sure to change things around.

If a player sees somebody with 990 health they will go for them over the guy with 1060 health. It's just what's done by most people. Especially rogues.

I had some nice games today, killed a few hunters cuz after all - That's what it's all about right?

INCOMING SUPER SECRET HUNTER BEATING TECHNIQUE:

Go in prowl and stand about a meter away from them, root them dot them and starsurge quickly. Travel form next to them whilst your dots tick away and put up a few rejuvs along the way. Don't even attempt to cast unless the hunter is an S keying keyboard turner. Try and trinket the scatter shot as much as possible.

What I've found fun to do if the hunter is a backpedaller is to get behind him and start back pedalling whilst spamming moonfire haha, always funny.

Hello everyone, this is my first time blogging!

Hey,

So this is my first time blogging so I'll be learning things every day. So here's the basic info about what this is gunna be, I play a balance druid on aerie peak US server, horde. Now you may be thinking, "What's so cool about a balance druid". Well nothing usually but this balance druid is a level 20 Free to play twink.

So a free to play twink is just a twink that is made on a Free to play or F2P account meaning no auction house, mailbox or anything, the gold cap is 10 gold, you can only level to 20 and once you are level 20 you are automatically put in xp off bg's.

I've been twinking since February 2005 only a few months after the game came out. The thing is, I didn't really know I was twinking at that point. I just stayed at 19 and wanted to see how much cool gear I got before leveling. I wasn't well known, I didn't have lucky fishing hat or boots and I certainly didn't know any other twinks.

It took a year or two before all the other twinks started appearing. They out geared me completely and I was thinking, hey these guys have better gear, WTF!! I started talking to Ryrith. He explained twinking to me and basically showed me what I was doing... Through him I met many other twinks and it was all good.

Long story short, I leveled my paladin for lulz and made a rogue called Whatislove. Ryrith showed me how to play a rogue and I was soon beating a lot of people on our server Bronzebeard EU.

So yeah that's how I got into twinking. I kinda gave up on it after cata hit but F2P got me excited so I decided to give it a whirl. I made a balance druid because I heard Hunters, rogues and paladins were all OP and every druid in the F2P scene seemed to be a feral or a resto...

So I will be writing about some cool things I do with my druid etc because... well just because.
